Eventually, the traveler grew weary of the misinformation. He decided he had heard enough. He stopped talking, rebuked some, and denied the storytellers any further access to his life. He understood that these people had bad intentions. They surrounded him not out of genuine interest, but to suppress his ambitions and profit from his good works, for his greatness was natural and God-given.
So, the traveler began his journey anew. He became even more mysterious, and great things began to happen around him. His former surroundings no longer had access to him. His steps grew more vibrant and joyful, though he was aware that onlookers still watched from afar. But they were too distant to cause any further harm with their chaotic, two-faced behavior.
As he continued on his path, the traveler found solace in the words of scripture. He recalled the wisdom of Proverbs 4:25-27:
“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.”
The traveler embraced this guidance, knowing that his journey was divinely directed. He found strength in Isaiah 40:31:
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
